I spent the last week at Big White a 5 hour drive from Vancouver.
This is a family mountain and most accommodation is on the hill, real ski in and ski out. Usually there is lots of snow and sometimes poor visibility. This year we had three or four clear days and somewhat less snow than usual. It was also colder than normal. The week went by like a flash. Downhill skiing, cross country skiing, outdoor hockey for kids from 7 years old to 70 and lots of family food and fun.
Now it is back to work.
