I posted recently on reading strategies. Sean, a teacher in Michigan, in the United States, was not in agreement with the gist of my comments and contacted me about doing a podcast on the subject. I was only to happy to agree, and we had the following discussion. It is about 30 minutes long so I divided it into three parts.

It is interesting in the sense that Sean brings the experience of the classroom, and his enthusiasm, to bear on the subject. I have no doubt that Sean is a motivated and thoughtful teacher, very concerned about the success of his students. I, admittedly, have no experience teaching a classroom. Let me know what you think.

Sorry the audio file did not load the first time so I have added it now.
